Student Program for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE)
Empowering Future Innovators: The SPISE Program
KLF is proud to support the Students in SPISE initiative, which nurtures some of the brightest STEM scholars in the Caribbean. Admission to SPISE is highly competitive—students typically hold top grades in CSEC STEM subjects and receive outstanding recommendations from their principals and teachers. These exceptional young minds are immersed in a rigorous, university-level curriculum covering calculus, physics, biochemistry, entrepreneurship, and hands-on projects in programming, robotics, and renewable energy.

SPISE’s mission is to cultivate rare talent, inspire continued study in STEM, and encourage technology entrepreneurship as a pathway to regional economic growth. Students experience the demands and rewards of advanced study, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving, guided by university professors and industry leaders from the Caribbean and Diaspora. The program culminates in a public project competition, showcasing students’ innovation and mastery.
By investing in SPISE students, KLF helps prepare the next generation to lead, innovate, and create opportunities that will drive the Caribbean forward on the global stage.
